Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) – Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon
Philips left Tuesday’s game against the Chicago Cubs in the fifth inning.
Phillips was going to third base on a single from Jay Bruce in the fourth
inning and as he approached the bag, Starlin Castro backed into Phillips and
fell on top of his while trying to make a tag.
He stayed in for another inning before being replaced by Skip Schumaker in the
fifth and the Reds said later that he left the game because he was feeling
light-headed.
