Viera, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – The Washington Nationals released utility man
Kevin Frandsen on Wednesday.
Frandsen, 32, was just 3-for-35 with two RBI this spring. He played in 105
games for the Nationals in 2014 and is a career .259 hitter with 15 homers and
110 RBI over parts of eight seasons in the majors.
Washington also assigned outfielder Tony Gwynn Jr. to minor league camp.
