inning, lifting the Miami Marlins to a 4-3 win over the New York Mets on
Tuesday night.
Dee Gordon had two hits and scored a run, helping the Marlins beat the Mets
for the first time in six meetings this season.
Juan Lagares hit a three-run double for the Mets, and Daniel Murphy finished
3- for-4 after connecting for the go-ahead three-run homer in the ninth
inning of a 3-1 win in Monday’s opener of this three-game series.
