MLB Impressions Headed Into 10/10

Road teams have been holding dominion in this year’s playoffs.  Both Wild Card teams advance via shutout efforts on the road.  The divisional series has seemed to follow suit.  Six games in and four of them have gone to the team on the road.  Who might be on life support and virtually eliminated all ready?  Read on with Apex Baseball Betting to find out all the relevant items of interest in the MLB playoffs.

Fork in Toronto

With extra innings not going their way, the Blue Jays are already walking dead.  The Rangers are demonstrating the recent recipe to advance to the next round.  They use the intangibles for run creation.  The Blue Jays are so reliant on their big bats.  With the insurance run to make it 6-4, few could fear the comeback potential of Toronto unless they got a batter on base.  Texas just pitched straight down the middle and claimed the game and lead the best of five two games to none.

Unders in the Mets and Dodgers

  • Game went below the 5 1/2 runs but it was the Mets that prevailed 3-1.  With getting one on the road and against Kershaw allows the New York deep starting staff to hold a large advantage in this one.  Look for more run restriction in the immediate future.

Off the Hook

Houston is and is not happy at the events as they unfolded in Kansas City.  They left town with a one-one split.  However, they had Cueto on the ropes with a 4-2 lead and let the Royals off the hook.  With Dallas pitching at home, the chances of them returning to Kansas City is good if they do not sweep at home.  With Aoki and other aspects of speed gone from their line up, KC has to be dependent on their starting staff more.  When this happens, the Royals are very vulnerable.

Finally, the best team in the league record wise held the Cubs at bay.  4-0 is part of the aftermath of the Wild Card.  Little energy hurt them in this one but all will be forgiven with a game two win today.  For our money, they leave town down 2-0.  Good fortune in your baseball wagering and we will be back next time with an additional playoff update here at APEX Baseball Handicapping.
