Marlins complete sweep of Nationals

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Adeiny Hechavarria’s bases-clearing triple in
the fourth led the Miami Marlins to a 6-2 win over the Washington Nationals on
Sunday to complete a series sweep.

Miami starter Dan Haren (2-1) allowed two runs on three hits and three walks
in five innings. Dee Gordon hit four singles for the Marlins, and Giancarlo
Stanton had two hits, including one of Miami’s three triples.

Gio Gonzalez (1-2) was charged with all six Miami runs in five-plus innings on
10 hits and a walk with eight strikeouts. Bryce Harper hit his fifth home run
of the season for Washington.
