Lawrie, Reddick power A’s over Angels

Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Brett Lawrie hit a three-run home run to
lead the Oakland Athletics to a 6-2 win over the LA Angels of Anaheim in the
opener of a three-game set on Tuesday.

Josh Reddick hit a solo home run and drove in three runs for the Athletics,
who snapped a four-game skid. Sonny Gray (3-0) went eight innings and gave up
two runs on six hits while walking one and striking out six.

David Freese drove in both runs for the Angels, who have dropped their past
two. Jered Weaver (0-3) allowed six runs on six hits while striking out one in
seven innings.
