Jays ink Randy Wolf on minor league deal

Dunedin, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Veteran pitcher Randy Wolf has signed a
minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays, the team announced
Wednesday.

Wolf, a 16-game winner and National League All-Star with the Philadelphia
Phillies in 2003, has pitched in just six major league games over the past two
seasons. The well-traveled left-hander made four starts and two relief
appearances with the Miami Marlins in 2014, posting a 1-3 record with a 5.26
ERA before being released in June.

The 38-year-old missed the entire 2013 season while recovering from Tommy John
surgery.

Wolf owns a 133-120 lifetime record with a 4.21 ERA over 15 major league
seasons and has posted double-digit wins eight times, most recently with
Milwaukee in 2011.
