Hard to believe that the a positive runline still exists on a legendary pitching season!  Last night, this Dodger warrior took to the mound and did what he does best.  Find out who was behind LA’s 6-2 win over the Pirates and how Zack Greinke’s season is lining up with some of the greats of all time.

The Bar

Two numbers in tandem are put in combination to display the historical significance of Zack Grienke’s 2015.  Take an ERA of 1.75 or below.  Mix it with a winning percentage of .850 or more and one has a steam roller threatening to cash runline every time he takes the mound.  Two names were on this list.

Dwight Gooden in 1985

Greg Maddux for 1995

That is it until know. Zack is threatening to do this and to think the Dodgers – 1 1/2 was +115 last night. WOW!

His numbers are in at 18-3 with an era of 1.65.  Zack contributes his phenomenal win total to being able to pitch deep in almost all of his starts.  All of this helped push LA to a pair of eights.  The lead in the NL West stands at 8 1/2 games.  Couple that with the magic number of eight to secure the division and the Dodgers are well on their way to another post season appearance.

Even those that bounce around the league are helping this Dodgers push.  Look at Justin Ruggiano  33 and cast off from Seattle.  He specializes in scalping left handed pitching.  Since getting there he has a .364 with three home runs and 11 RBIS in eleven games.  With timely hitting, stellar defense. and superb starting pitching, pencil in the run line for the rest of Zack’s starts.  Good fortune today and we will talk to you next time here at APEX Baseball Betting.
