Goldschmidt, D-backs down slumping Giants

San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Paul Goldschmidt stroked a two-run
homer to help power the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 5-1 victory over the San
Francisco Giants in the finale of a four-game set on Sunday.

Chris Owings finished with three hits and two RBI, A.J. Pollock supplied three
hits and two runs scored and Jordan Pacheco also drove in a run for the
Diamondbacks, who won three of the four games against the Giants.

Jeremy Hellickson (1-2) earned the win after surrendering just one run on
eight hits and a walk in 6 2/3 innings.

Angel Pagan brought in a run and Tim Hudson (0-2) gave up five runs on six
hits and two walks over five frames for the Giants, who have lost nine of
their last 10 games.
