Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Los Angeles Dodgers placed
outfielder Carl Crawford on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a strained
right oblique.
Crawford tripled in the second inning of the Dodgers’ 8-3 victory over the San
Francisco Giants on Monday, then left the game in the third inning with what
the team called “right side tightness.”
He is batting .245 with a home run and three RBI in 15 games this season.
The Dodgers recalled infielder/outfielder Kike Hernandez from Triple-A
Oklahoma City to fill the roster spot.
