Cubs-Reds rained out

Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – Saturday’s game between the Chicago Cubs
and Cincinnati Reds was postponed because of rain after a rain delay of over
four hours.

No makeup date has been announced.

Prior to the scheduled 1:10 p.m. ET start, the Reds held a ceremony to honor
the 25th anniversary of their 1990 World Series champion team.

The tarp was removed for a planned 4:35 p.m. start as the grounds crew
prepared the field, but the tarp was quickly put back in place.

Cincinnati’s Anthony DeSclafini was scheduled to face off against Chicago’s
Jake Arrieta. The series resumes on Sunday.
