Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Milwaukee Brewers have placed
outfielder Carlos Gomez on the 15-day disabled list because of a right
hamstring strain.
Gomez was hurt during Wednesday’s game against St. Louis and missed Thursday’s
series finale against the Cardinals, making the DL move retroactive to April
16.
In eight games this season, Gomez is batting just .235 with four doubles, a
homer and a team-high six runs batted in.
The Brewers recalled utilityman Jason Rogers from Triple-A Colorado Springs to
fill the roster spot.
