Braves edge Fish at rain-soaked Turner Field

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Atlanta Braves endured a pair of brief
rain delays before moving back into the win column on Monday night.

Eric Young Jr. had a pair of doubles and scored a run, Shelby Miller picked up
his first win as a Brave and Atlanta edged the Miami Marlins 3-2 in the opener
of a three-game set.

The two rain delays totaled 1 hour and 31 minutes, with the start of the game
coming 52 minutes after the scheduled first pitch. There was then a 39-minute
stoppage following the top of the fourth inning.

Surprising Atlanta began 5-0 prior to tallying its first loss Sunday against
the New York Mets.
